Why Read Another Family Travel Blog? (And what will you get out of it?)
Hi there! My name is Christoph and I started my love for family travel on the day I was born. My family was on vacation in the mountains about 2 hours from home, when I decided to make my entrance felt. Since that time I’ve traveled to 44 states, lived on both coasts of the US, and lived in two European countries.
My parents both moved away from home when they were young and they have encouraged me to visit and learn from the different parts of the world. A few ways I have learned these lessons are with early morning flights as a child to visit my cousins in the Midwest, a study abroad trip to Germany in High School, and a family vacation with my wife and two young boys to Vienna for their Christmas markets! And, I still really enjoy learning other cultures and meeting new people across the globe.
This blog will be about my family and I’s past, present, and future travels and any mistakes, hacks, or wonders we’ve enjoyed through the way. The reason I wanted to start this blog is the lack of available travel during COVID made me yearn for the old times. My wife and I have even started watching old House Hunters International episodes to get our fix for countries to visit and cultures to learn.
